Do you have a Personal Mission Statement ?
There are many times in our lives when we will drift off course, go astray or fall off the wagon so to speak. Whether it's our relationships, health, work life or any other goal we may be striving for, it's bound to happen. It's not about if we'll fall of the goal wagon, it's when, because sooner or later we will fall . The question is...How fast can you hop back on?
I find the best way to get back on track is to know what you stand for to begin with. Who are you? What do you do? What is your purpose? What are you hoping to accomplish and what will it do for others? These questions are the beginning of finding your Personal Mission Statement.
Your Personal Mission Statement is for you and you alone. It's not to re sight to sell your worth to others, your actions do that. It's to keep you in touch with what your worth is to you and if you haven't yet created your Personal Mission Statement, there's no time like the present. Your Personal Mission Statement will give you the strength to pick yourself up, the courage to follow your dreams and the inspiration to live your life on Purpose!
Who you are is your Personal Brand. In order to answer that question you have to ask yourself what you want to be known for. Kindness? Motivation? Knowledge? Bravery? Honesty? What will others say about you?
What you do is not about your station in life. It's not about status or material things. What you do is about the actions you take towards your purpose in life and your purpose in life is the reason you get out of bed every day.
Finally, will your accomplishments touch the lives of others in a positive way? Will they leave this world a little bit better? Do they contribute to the greater good?
